I am a BACP accredited counsellor. I hold a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, a Diploma in Clinical Supervision and certificates in Counselling Skills, Counselling Theory, Counselling Children and Young People, Certificate of Higher Education in Counselling, Certificate in Bereavement Counselling, a Certificate in TA 101 (Introduction to Transactional Analysis) and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Skills (CBT). I see my ongoing professional development as highly important and have attended various workshops in: My pathway through life has led me working in Education, Social Services and Family Group Conferencing. I previously worked as a counsellor for the NHS and as well as counselling within my private practice I am also employed as a school counsellor.
Within counselling my aim is to provide an environment to support individuals to grow in their own direction. I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their Code of Ethics. I am a UKRCP (United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) Registered Independent Counsellor. I am also a member of the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
